Ciao Bella 'Key Lime Graham Gelato Squares' Wins sofi Gold Award

New York, June 30, 2010 -- Ciao Bella’s Key Lime Graham Gelato Squares was named Outstanding Dessert or Dessert Topping of 2010 at the Annual sofi Awards from the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade, Inc.

Key Lime Graham Gelato Squares was one of 140 sofi Silver Finalists selected from a record 2,257 contenders this year by a national panel of specialty food experts. The winners were announced at a red-carpet ceremony June 28 at the 56th Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City.

The win is Ciao Bella’s 16th sofi award in 16 years.

Ciao Bella’s Key Lime Graham Gelato Squares is a chef-inspired blend of lime juice, graham cracker and pure cream.

The gelato squares represent one of three new novelty items the brand unveiled this year. Offering a unique twist on old favorites, consumers can also indulge in a low-calorie Blood Orange Sorbet bar or a Tahitian Vanilla Raspberry Gelato Dip enrobed in chocolate.
